The exhibition Portraits of Wine presents Ruth Troyano's book collection, with photographs by Maoz Eliakim of profiles of oenologists who have trained at the Faculty of Oenology of the Rovira i Virgili University in Tarragona. Landscapes, winemaking practices and diverse professional profiles, but with a single way of understanding wine: with passion and with the conviction that the bond with the land is as decisive as the art, craftsmanship, technique and science that come together when making wine.
Exhibition #FotoRecercaURV2024 at Sescelades campus CRAI

The #FotoRecercaURV2024 exhibition is a selection of images that show science, in its various disciplines, from different points of view: microscopic, general and those that highlight the protagonists of the research.
The 13 photographs that make up the exhibition have been selected from the Digital Photography Competition on Social Networks promoted by the URV and had to refer to any scientific and technical discipline, both related to research and innovation activities and to scientific dissemination and technological applications.
The exhibition has received co-financing from the Tarragona Provincial Council and the Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology (FECYT) of the Ministry of Science and Innovation.
I Cycle of online Training of the Scopus database

From 19 to 27 March, FECYT and Elsevier, organize the I Cycle of online Training of the Scopus database. Its objective is make to researchers, students and library staff aware of the updates of the datebase and the new functionalities designed for institutions.
In this edition the following 14 free courses have been scheduled, each lasting 75 minutes, in the morning and afternoon, and in Spanish. Registration is open:
- Introduction to Scopus and first searches
- Scopus: search and analysis of results
- Scopus searches: advanced search
- Scopus: author profile and organizations
- Scopus: Cite Score and other journal metrics
- Scopus: Sources and comparison of journals
- Scopus by authors
Check all the sessions and formalize the prior registration through this link. The first time you log in, SABiDi will ask for validation with the university's credentials. From here, you can choose the session or sessions of your interest. Use the institutional mail of the URV when filling in the registration form. Once formalized, you will receive a confirmation email that must be saved because it contains the link to access the session on the day and time indicated. Check your spam folder if you haven't received it.
All users who take the courses and answer the 100% of all online questions that will be asked live during the session, will receive by email a satisfaction survey and, a few weeks later, the certificate of attendance.

Poetry recital "García Lorca and I" at the CRAI campus Catalunya
As part of the events commemorating the 90th anniversary of Federico García Lorca's visit to Tarragona and coinciding with World Poetry Day, the Mathematical Linguistics Research Group has organized a participatory poetry recital to pay tribute to his work.

Exhibition "Destination Equality" at Catalunya campus CRAI

The "Destination Equality" exhibition by the Vicente Ferrer Foundation aims to promote gender equality and solidarity between India and Spain, giving voice to the life stories of women from different parts of the world. A good opportunity to raise awareness among the university community about global inequalities and to focus on the SDG of gender equality.
The exhibition is organized by the Office of Equality and Social Commitment of the URV.

The Alma Mater URV Cultural Collective invites you to visit the art exhibition "Digital Metamorphosis. The feminine and surreal in the technological era" by Yulia Lisyanskaya, digital artist and student of the Master in Strategic Communication taught at the URV.
This exhibition invites you to reflect on how digitalization and aesthetic transformation can influence feelings and change the understanding of our environment.
The opening ceremony will take place next Monday, March 31 at 3 p.m. in the lobby of the CRAI campus Catalunya.
