The European Documentation Center (CDE) was created in 1993 as a result of an agreement between the Department of Economics and Business Management of the URV and the European Commission.

It belongs to the europe direct information network and is aimed at all citizens.

Its objectives are the promotion of research on the European Union and the dissemination of its policies in the university community.
