The Universitat Rovira i Virgili has an agreement with CEDRO (Spanish Center for Reprographic Rights) and with VEGAP (Visual, Visual Artists Management Entity), by means of which it complies with the provisions of current legislation with regard to the acts of partial reproduction, distribution and communication corresponding to a chapter of a book, an article in a magazine or equivalent extension of a publication assimilated to a magazine (eg a miscellany), or extension assimilable to 10% of the total of a work (section 2.2 of the previous section of this document) in exchange for an annual fee per student.

In accordance with this contract, the URV faculty can freely deposit in the virtual training environment (Moodle) a chapter of a book, an article of a journal or equivalent extension of a publication assimilated to a journal (eg a miscellaneous), or extension equivalent to 10% of the total of a work, without prejudice to the provisions of section 2.1 regarding small fragments of isolated works of a plastic or figurative photographic nature.

If it were the case that a teacher needed to deposit in the virtual training environment (Moodle) more than one book chapter, a magazine article or an equivalent extension of a publication assimilated to a magazine (eg a miscellany), or a extension greater than 10% of the total of a work, it will be necessary to previously request the authorization of the author or editor.
